All SBU students, faculty, and staff have the option of enrolling in the SBU Alert program to receive emergency notifications from Safety and Security, Student Life or University Communications.
SBU Alerts will notify student subscribers via text message and/or email as well as through the SBU website should there be the need for an emergency notification. Subscribers may also be notified via RSS feeds, and personalized web pages from Google, My Yahoo and AOL.
